Almeria, the capital of the province of the same name, is situated in Andalusia in southern Spain. Almeria airport is easily accessible from Switzerland and Austria in 2 hours. Almeria airport is just 10 km outside the city and the motorway easily accessible by car. With over 1 million passengers it ranks number 5 in the Andalusian airports with Seville and Jerez de la Frontera.
